Nurses provide cancer care to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals and the community. Many nurses that you meet will have special training in caring for people with cancer. Some nurses have special roles, such as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) or a Nurse Navigator. These nurses may have special education and usually work with specific groups of patients.
