You have been referred to the Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario by your family doctor or another specialist. He or she has done this because they want you to get more testing,
treatment or support from a team of health care providers who treat and care for people with cancer.

Finding out you or a loved one has cancer can be stressful. You may be unsure of what to expect or what to do next. We want you to know that you are not alone. We will become part of your cancer care team and will work with you to get through this difficult time. To help ease your stress, we have created this section to help orient you to the Cancer Centre and help prepare you for your first appointment.
