Disease site groups

Disease site groups provide academic and clinical leadership for the diagnosis and treatment of a population of cancer patients. They are physician-led, but include nurses and representatives of many other health disciplines

The groups work to ensure that cancer care is delivered according to the best known evidence and oversee the development of cancer care guidelines. They also lead multidisciplinary cancer conferences. These tools can help you provide high-quality cancer care to your patients and meet the requirement to discuss your cases with a multidisciplinary team.

There are a number of disease site groups in our region.  You can find more information about each disease site group by using the related resources on the right side of this page.
