Fireplace FUNraising Dance

If you’ve spent some in the Burr main lobby of the Cancer Centre, you’ll know that it can get a little chilly with the doors opening and winds off the lake making their way inside. To help make the space more comfortable for patients, families and staff, a fireplace ‘FUN‘raiser dance is being thrown to help purchase two electric fireplaces for the lobby. Not only are fireplaces known to provide heat and warmth, but evidence has shown they can also have a calming effect.

Join us for a night out with music provided by Old Docs, New Tricks and spin-master Alex Young of Elegant Thunder. It will be a fun filled evening of good tunes and dancing for your friends, family and neighbours. Open to anyone 19 years of age or older, even if you don’t like to dance!
