Grab your friends and family and come tour the Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario for a look at cutting-edge technology and innovation in health care. See the $3-million linear accelerator in action and check out the state-of-the-art CT scanner to learn why it requires custom tattoos.

While here, keep your eyes peeled and your ears open, because one of the most unusual, fun and interesting educational exhibits will make an appearance! You have to see it to believe it! What is it…?

A GIANT inflatable colon!

An astounding 40 feet in length and eight feet high, The Giant Colon is a multimedia exhibition for all ages that features all of the pathologies that may be found inside the human colon, including colorectal cancer.

The Giant Colon exhibit is animated by professor in residence, Dr. Preventino. Captured on 5 video displays, Dr. Preventino will guide you on your tour through the Giant Colon and provide healthy lifestyle tips to keep you and your colon healthy.

Once you’ve finished exploring The Giant Colon join a guided tour that will take you through the Cancer Centre. Highlights along the way include stops at:

1. Radiation Therapy

2. Pediatrics

3. Plastics

4. Chemotherapy
